I won’t make any comment on how toxic that is as I don’t know about PS5 pre-load conditions, but do strongly suggest that if true you bring forward the conversion to a free-to-play downloadable title for the people out there wanting to download it ASAP rather than at launch time.

“That money is used to keep servers running” – do you see these charges for playing games on PC? No? Because the costs of running servers are the cost of doing business, so your response is ridiculously corporate.

Also cost of doing business, that which was justified by increasing the price of games by $10 USD and giving away ALL first party titles made to PC (yes, Herman/Sony committed to releasing ALL, and eventually day one making the console a paperweight).

The price of PS+ and its subsequently weak lineup offerings in recent times (rivaling that of the end moments of Xbox Live Gold offerings) has nothing to do with any of that you mentioned.

I strongly suggest you look as SIE FY/IR reports to see just how wrong you are.

That money is used to keep servers running, pay the people who work there, and yes fund games that take TIME to make. Just because there are games you don’t like doesn’t mean others feel the same. People are so concerned about constantly needing a new game, and if a game comes out it’s not what you want. There might not be any first party games but there are plenty of great games to play. The first party will come when they are ready.
